Meet Our Pastor and His Wife

Pastor Richard Ladouceur and Haley
Pastor Richard was born right here in the North Country and was raised in Lisbon, NY. Upon receiving his call to ministry after high school, his calling to ministry was reaffirmed through the local body at Lisbon Wesleyan Church, the church where he committed his life completely to Jesus.
 
With vocational ministry in his heart, he pursued his bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN. It was during his academic years at IWU, that he met his future ministerial partner, Haley, through Brookhaven Wesleyan Church and courses they took at IWU. Upon graduation in May 2010, Richard became a youth pastor at Sweetser Wesleyan in Sweetser, IN. From there, he served several years at Farrville Community Church, an independent church in Marion, IN.

But we know God is in control and that His will is always best. Upon direction of the Holy Spirit, Richard, Haley, and their two daughters moved to Morley, NY in May of 2017 to pastor and lead His Church, Morley Wesleyan, back here in the North Country. As he continues to serve at Morley Wesleyan, he has also accepted the call to love and care for the community of Colton! He desires to greet those who live in and around our community and to share the love and the hope that is found in the wonderful name of Jesus!
